PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA (STUDI PADA GURU SMK NEGERI 2 PENGASIH KULONPROGO)
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the effect of leadership style and motivation on employee performance, the study of the vocational teachers SMK 2 Pengasih Kulonprogo. With a total sample of 65 teachers, the results of the study concluded that simultaneous, leadership styles and motivation significantly influence the performance of teachers of SMK 2 Pengasih Kulonprogo. Partially, leadership style significantly influence the performance of teachers, and partially also, motivations significantly influence the performance of teachers of SMK 2 Pengasih Kulonprogo. Other conclusion is that the leadership style variables are variables that dominant than motivational variables, in influencing the performance of teachers.
The results of multiple regression Y =11.169 + 0.731 X1 + 0.214 X2
Regression coefficient leadership styles 0731, the positive influence of leadership style on the performance variable for 0731, assuming other variables fixed or constant. Regression coefficient motivation 0214, the positive influence of work motivation variable 0214 assuming other variables fixed or constant. Adjusted R square 0387, meaning that 38.7% of the variation in performance SMK N 2 Pengasih can be explained by the two independent variables, namely (X1) and leadership style (X2) Work motivation, while 61.3% is explained by other factors not examined in this study.
